"MeMe" is an exceptional filly that epitomizes the type, elegance and refinement that we strive to breed for at Genesis Farm. MeMe is sired by our two-time National Champion Stallion and two-time AHR Stallion of the Year, Arno van het Nieshof. Her dam is the elegant and refined Afghan III NTF mare, Febe Ze NTF. Febe has produced many exceptional fillies through the years and MeMe is a testament to this.
MeMe was shown very successfully by Genesis Farm in 2006 as a weanling, even though she was one of the youngest foals at the shows because she had a late May birthdate. Our MeMe was 1st place in the junior weanling filly class at the GLHA Futurity. She earned a 2nd place in the junior weanling pleasure filly class at the AHR National Futurity, second only to her half-sister (another Arno daughter), Mint Tradition MLF (“Spice”). MeMe also placed 4th in the AHR S.I.P. class, placing only behind three other Arno offspring, all of which collaborated to help Arno to be awarded the title of 2006 AHR “Stallion of the Year”.
All and all, these were some noteworthy accomplishments for a foal that was only 4 months old at the time of the fall shows! Of course, winning has again proven to be in the genetics. Her full sister in 2007, Faith by Fire DAF, also claimed futurity titles of her own, including champion weanling at the GLHA futurity and junior champion weanling at the AHR Futurity!
